2020 Vision

Here at WPW we’d like to wish everyone a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!!!

Let’s hope 2020 brings us all a year filled with challenges, accomplishments and achievements with more ups than downs!!

We want to start 2020 off on a real positive note, by patting ourselves on the back and saying “way to go team”!

Late this past fall, Wellington was honored to receive an awesome award as presented by the Canadian Printing Awards, which celebrates innovation and industry achievement.

The Print Design and Printing category awards are determined by an independent panel of judges comprised this year of 12 industry experts, who spent a full day analyzing and ranking the entries through a blind scoring system. The judges consider issues like technical achievement, printing process, run length, creativity and repeatability across multiple samples.

We were fortunate enough to be recognized for our work on the Medcan M-Care onboarding package – see blog “Printing is Tactile” as posted in Sept of ’19, and after the judges had sifted through hundreds of applicants we won a silver for “Finishing” and “Specialty Project”.

Needless to say this award would not have been possible without not only having a great client with vision and willing to push the “conventional” boundaries of print, but an amazing team of trade partners, whom we work with just about every day and our terrific crew who brought the entire project to life.
